Burlington, Ontario July 21st, 2006 –In the inaugural RIS News Hardware Leaderboard Survey released in the July Issue, DigiPoS Systems was ranked #1 in Product Features, # 1 in Technology Innovation and # 1 in Overall performance, by North American retailers in the POS Systems category. The 2006 Hardware Leaderboard results were derived from 805 surveys of over 120 retailers conducted independently by RIS News.
The intent of the study is to measure customer satisfaction of retail technology providers in six technology product categories: POS Units; Peripherals; Kiosks; Networking; Back of Store; and RFID. DigiPos Systems was assessed in the POS Units category and outplaced all competitors ranking # 1 in three of the 6 categories beating out all competitors including IBM, NCR, Fujitsu, Wincor, Dell, Ultimate Technologies and Hewlett Packard.
