The Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) provide military communities with department store-like exchanges, convenience stores and specialty stores in more than 30 countries, five U.S. territories and 49 states and operate over 3,100 facilities worldwide. With the retirement of their existing retail system, AAFES approached DigiPoS to become their technology and implementation partner, positioned to supply systems and services for their current as well as future POS requirements.

AAFES awarded DigiPoS an eight year contract for their POS replacement project with a plan to replace an estimated 8,500 registers valued at $25 Million, selecting the DigiPoS Retail Blade system along with a full suite of POS peripherals. Additionally, DigiPoS supplied the de-installation and installation services.
